MORE ABOUT THE PROJECT
“Cinema For Peace Summer Camp Academy & Film Festival” is an intensive training program with a variety of courses, sessions, film forums, guests speakers, mentors and films’ screenings.
All the program is designed to promote peace within arts and more specifically cinema so the participants be the ambassadors of cinema for peace.
The program will result the production of 6 short episodes creating a mini series tackling peace related themes & topics under the supervision of mentors and prominent Lebanese cinema figures.
Applicants will be early-career, mid-career and advanced career filmmakers. The program is designed for filmmakers from or based in Lebanon: from Lebanese, Syrian, Iraqi, Kurds or Palestinian nationalities, and for all Arab Nationals.
All sessions will run in English and Arabic.
